Michael Brown, President and CEO of Travel + Leisure Co., known as the world’s leader in membership leisure travel (more commonly known as timeshares) talks about the organization, his roots at Wyndham Vacation Ownership, and the strategy behind the purchase of Travel + Leisure magazine to rebrand and activate and inspire the travel industry. Mike goes on to discuss reputation and how it ties into the evolution of the timeshare industry and its value to consumers. Mr. Brown spreads the message of why CEOs should be interested in timeshares and keep them on their radar, including travel clubs and the broader ecosystem in finding common partners.
In the second half, Mike talks about the concept of culture, customer obsession, “decision velocity”, value, and how it connects to other CEOs.
